Welcome to Telefonía_MX, an online store specialized in eSIM technology and digital connectivity services. These Terms of Service govern the access, use, and contracting of our products, in accordance with the current legislation in the United Mexican States, including the Federal Consumer Protection Law (LFPC).

By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase on this site, you expressly accept these Terms. We recommend reviewing them periodically, as they may be updated.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you declare that you are over 18 years old and have the legal capacity to contract in accordance with Mexican laws. If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from using the site.

Description of Services

Telefonía_MX operates as an online store and, in some cases, as a digital marketplace. Depending on the product, we act as direct distributors or as intermediaries between the end user and national or international mobile operators.

Each eSIM product has clear information about:

  • Coverage
  • Country or region of activation
  • Validity
  • Technical Conditions

It is the user's responsibility to review this information before making the purchase.

eSIM Products and Activation

The eSIMs sold are personalized digital products for one-time use, associated with a single installation and activation attempt.

Each eSIM must be activated only in the country or region indicated in the product description. If an eSIM is installed or used outside of that location, it will be considered misuse, and no exchanges, returns, or refunds will be processed.

Device Locks and User Responsibility

It is the user's sole responsibility to ensure that their device is compatible with eSIM and is free of locks before making the purchase.

Operator Lock

If the device is locked to a specific operator, a message similar to the following will appear when trying to install the eSIM:

“eSIM not compatible. Please contact your operator for more information.”

It will not be possible to complete the installation. This scenario is the user's responsibility and does not entitle to a refund, exchange, or compensation.

IMEI lock

If the device has an IMEI lock (due to theft report, loss, or debts), the eSIM can be installed, but it will not have any type of service (data, calls, or network). This case is also considered the user's responsibility and does not apply for refunds or warranty.

Warranty

The eSIMs come with a limited warranty of 72 hours from the moment the QR code is sent to the user's email.

To validate the warranty, the user must:

  • Contact us within the indicated timeframe
  • Write to hola@telefoniamx.com or respond to the delivery email
  • Provide technical evidence of the failure

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Use outside the allowed country or region
  • Carrier or IMEI lock
  • Incompatible device
  • Product already installed
  • Partial or total use of the service

If a defect attributable to the product is verified, a replacement or equivalent solution will be offered.

Changes and Returns

Operator eSIMs for Mexico and the United States

The products included in the eSIM for Mexico collection (such as Telcel, AT&T, Virgin Mobile, and any other product from that collection) and eSIMs for the United States (T-Mobile, AT&T USA, Verizon) do not accept changes or returns once sent to the user's email, as each line is customized at the time of purchase.

Before being sent, it is possible to request modifications or cancellations. Once the QR code or installation file is sent, it will not be possible to make changes, returns, or refunds.

Other eSIMs

For other eSIMs, Telefonía_MX reserves the right to accept or reject exchanges or returns at its discretion, depending on the technical analysis of the case. The solution may include:

  • Replacement of the product
  • Exchange for another product (difference payment may apply)
  • Partial or total refund, as applicable

Important: No changes or returns are accepted for any product that has already been installed, even if it has not been used afterward.

Payment Processing and Fraud Prevention

Payments are processed through secure platforms with authentication mechanisms such as 3D Secure and automatic fraud detection systems. Each transaction is analyzed to protect our customers.

In some cases, we may request additional information for identity verification. This verification may consist of sending, via email, a screenshot of the charge reflected in the bank application of the purchase holder.

We do not request, nor will we request, sensitive data such as full card number, CVV, expiration date, bank passwords, or security codes. This verification is used solely as an additional security step to protect the transaction holder and prevent fraud.

Personal Data Protection

Telefonía_MX complies with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. User information is used solely for the provision of contracted services. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibility

The user agrees to make lawful and appropriate use of the services. Any attempt at fraud, unauthorized resale, or improper manipulation of the eSIMs will result in the cancellation of the service without the right to a refund.

Intellectual Property

All content on the site (texts, images, logos, documentation, and materials) is the property of Telefonía_MX or its respective owners. Reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.

Applicable Legislation and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of Mexico City.
